Las Hijas Del Gallo: Reviews & Ratings
This bakery is very close to the SFO airport and it’s a rare find on Google maps. They have plenty of sweet breads and a few great savory options too. Their jalapeño cheese bread is my favorite. They make très leches in house, but the milk does not soak the bread center(minus one star).
They have tasty bread, and most importantly it’s fresh bread! I love the variety of pan dulce they carry, and they also make cakes! Don’t be discouraged by the long line, it moves fast and the service is friendly!
Great selection of bakery items that all tasted fresh and not overdone with flavor. Well priced as well.
This place was recommended to me by a coworker. Me and my cocowker had breakfast nearby and I was told I have to try this place out since they stand out compared to other bakeries. I instantly knew I had to try this place out even though I was full. Upon arrival, the place was a bit crowded but that did not give me a doubt since I am a very patient person. You first grab a tray along with a pair of tongs, then you choose what you would like. The baked goods area is a bit of narrow, but just enough to get by. They have a variety of things to choose from that will definitely fit your test. They offer many different Spanish goods, doughnuts, breads, pastries, cookies, tres leche, flan and many more things to choose from. I was lucky, because when it was my turn a lot of things had just come out of their oven. Everything here is made fresh daily which is always a plus because it is quality over quantity. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding which made my visit a satisfying and issue free one. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing some goods for breakfast, if you are willing to try something new, for all the people that have a sweet tooth or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
Excellent Mexican bakery. Different types of breads kind of pricey but good. Bolillos a little chewy I prefer a little more crunchy. Definitely one of my favorites in SF. area. Teleras, pambazo donas . Chocolate cookies need improvement, chips feltdown
Everyone was very nice. Regardless of all the wonderful business and big lines, they took care of me with a smile. The rosca was delicious. I got the small rosca rellena de guayaba.
Charming and sweet place to visit , variety of tasty treats to offer , plenty of choices to choose from, their flan is delicious and a must try , their tres leches is a definite must try , they have so many trays of breads, cookies and sweet and savory bread to pick from , clean setting and very lovely staff. Coffee counter available. Street parking available and also across it is a parking lot.
The best pan dulce in the SSF and SF combined! A family owned neighborhood bakery, just like the ones in Mexico. The pastries are always fresh, the service is great and the pricing is definitely fair.
